Sounds like you have a good one in the perfect tank for it. These often just disappear when added to a larger tank.
Oh ya... A total waste of money in a larger tank because they don't move around at feeding time or any other time for that matter. LOL. If the food I dropper feed him with is more than an 1" away from him he ignores it. I'm convinced that in the wild they catch whatever floats by their mouths. Hunting for food is not what these guys are designed to do!

Foxface and a Smith's Blenny. Not exactly tempting fate to put my hand in the tank :D

Neither are there _because_ they're venomous, just happen to _also_ be venomous.

One of those fish which definitely make you wonder how on earth they survive in the ocean

I guess it works in their favor to have an entire ocean's worth of food simply float past their mouths for the taking. That's kind of an awesome sounding life. LOL

i cant think

I have owned two venomous fish. Both the exact same species and surprise surprise, a fish I wouldn’t have a 4’+ tank without.
My Siganus magnificus. Yes, he’s in a softie & LPS reef which is ironic due to what they’re known for eating but he’s avoided all Softies so far.

Love a foxface - sadly they can’t resist picking at the skin of Scorpaeniformes!

Your tank, collection, and photos are stunning.. it’s great to hear feeding hasn’t been too difficult for you. I recently added a fuzzy dwarf to my tank and I’m feeding him ghost shrimp with tweezers. I froze a number of ghost shrimp and plan to start swapping them soon. Hopefully he will move to reef frenzy later.

I’ve had this citron clown goby (Gobiodon citrinus) in quarantine for a while which has toxic mucus (so I guess it's more poisonous than venomous).
@srcleary do you still have your stingrays?
