Please excuse my bad knowledge on venomous fish/predatory fish but what’s that stunner in the 4th photo?Haven’t posted in a while so here are some pics :)
Soapfish
Likely Scorpaena brasiliensis. A lovely scorp but be careful with the size of the mouth - I called the one I had “bucket mouth” for obvious reasons :)
There's going to be a mandarin and anemones with him... can't seem to find any info on that, but for now he's in a box with rocks to perch and we're tong feeding pe mysis. Gonna look up that species specifically.
Mandarins have a toxic slime coat which helps them to avoid being eaten.
Tell that to a scorpionfish. I lost a previous Inimicus didactylus because it ate a mandarin :(
I went to a guy's house to pick up some acans and here was this weird looking fish that he said wouldn't eat, but would like to know too, because if he needs a new tank he might as well have some friends!!

Yes! I feed a huge portion of 200-300 river shrimp in one go once a week. Then they get frozen white shrimp and silversides in the week - I’ve trained them all to eat frozen which makes my life much easier!
Beautiful! I love the dwarf scorpions/waspfish! I really want to have a soft coral tank dedicated to them one day.A few shots this evening of the gang.
