It worked great for bubble algae, but it did take about 6 weeks to actually see a difference. If did nothing for film algae on the glass, might give you cyano, and from whats been reported it might kill your macro algae. It did not kill my macro algae although it did stun its growth a bit.

Make sure you follow the directions and doses.

Where A LOT of people fail (as with all additives) - is not realizing your 180 gallon tank DOES NOT have 180 gallons of water in it! Your sand, live rock, corals, etc. - all take up water volume - subtract accordingly.

More is not better with this stuff.

Be sure to be proactive in removing any pests (long hair algae, etc.) off the rock work, etc.

Make sure you do your normal cleaning and maintenance while using it also.

Eliminated both Bubble and GHA in my 65, but, took around 16 weeks.
Worth every penny.
Did not see any change whatsoever for 6-7 weeks, then the Bubbles went from green, to grey, to translucent, then just seemed to disappear.

I used it for bubble algae. It took about 3-4 weeks to start seeing a difference and within 8 or so, it was gone. IMHO, a great product if used correctly

That’s great news! I’m going to try it on brown hair algae.

GHA takes forever to kill with Vibrant, but once it does get ready as your nitrates are gonna rise.
