Victor on a budget

"Tightening the purse strings"...must be a big purse. Interested in how the substrate turns out though, I like the idea.

Well I’m sure their budget is a lot different from the average reefer. Plus they probably have access to equipment just laying around or get new at cost. I mean I diy’ed a kalk stirrer for a fraction of the cost of a production model from icecap. I could have built 4-5 of them just for the cost of the versa pump I had to buy to use it! The sad fact of the matter is that anymore finding used equipment for a “deal” is rare anymore with everyone wanting to recoup 98% of their expenses. I almost prefer buying brand new for a warranty when most people are trying to sell their 2 year old stuff for $50 less than new prices!
