Blue throat trigger fish spawning!! When the eggs were released, the other fish went into a feeding frenzy! I've had them for 1 year and 9 months. They were not purchased as a pair. Actually, they had no interest in each other for about the 1st year.

Thank you everyone.

The female is currently protecting the eggs. Unfortunately when she went into her cave after lights out, the cleaner shrimp where all over the eggs.

Did you pair them yourself or did you buy them "paired"
If you paired them yourself how did you do it or do you know how one would go about doing it?

I did not buy them paired. I purchased a male and female in my LFS. The first male was shy, timid and stop eating in QT and died.

I then purchased the male in the video from Divers Den. When he was put into the display they didn't really interact. Even today they don't swim together and sleep in separate areas.
