Vipar spectra light settings??

Ok so just unboxed new 165w led light and I keep seeing people talk about 10% whites or 20% whites this and that. I’m just not understand how do you change these to get percentages??? I’ve had a single strip white led light since start of tank for over a year nothing crazy but it had had white led lights on for awhile but is it just with timing is the percentages?

CH1 is blue and CH2 is white. I run a ratio of 3:1 (so for example 60%:20%). If you like more blue then try 4:1. You can stagger the schedule with the timer so blue is on longer than white, but you can also adjust intensity of each channel by percentage.

That depends on you and the type of coral you keep. Generally about 8 hours per day is recommended. If you go with a little lower intensity then you can have a little longer duration.

Ok that’s what I basically have it set up at didn’t know if I should start with blue slightly earlier and end it slightly later

I have blues come on about 15 minutes before whites and stay on about 15 minutes after whites go off.
