That's crazy! Ours took a ride on a plane and made it fine with just some browning out. I'm glad some of it was saved!

Yeah, I was surprised as well. The parameters of both our tanks are pretty stable.

The mother colony was a stunner for sure even under daylight. Go early if you want to take a look at it in daylights before the blues kicked in, or have them change it via the app. You can also see the colony that they frag from in the back area as well.

Well here's another shot of it progressing along in color and growth. Daylight shot.

Similar experience. I bought a frag from Brandon and it arrived browned out. Brandon told me he would send me a colored up replacement. Hopefully he follows through.

Beautiful piece, and quite the investment. You have to be extremely confident in your water quality...... Unfortunately I'm not quite there yet. Good stuff!

Finally grabbed a better shot that didn't have a winded effect from the iPhone.

I have some gel filters coming next week so I'll take some Walt Disney style actinic pictures for those that like that stuff.

You can have a gel party and take shots of WD, SC Orange Passion and the Confetti. Then we can determine which coral will rule them all [emoji851]

Don't have the SC OP, so the PF and HW will have to fill in for it. RB only. Confetti is at a disadvantage due to its size.

Wow! Amazing photos! How do you take actinic photos like that? [emoji50]

I just put my Vegas on "light testing mode" and only turned on the RB channel. Then I shot it using my DSLR, as per usual, using my large Avast porthole (the 7" model) with the standard custom WB. I did turn both my MP10wES down to the minimum this time so that I didn't have to worry about the polyps dancing around.

Vivid Aquariums got the Confetti Acro over 14 months ago. It has been growing well in our 800 reef for over a year now. We keep it under Ecotech Radion Gen 4's at a PAR of 260-300. I took and edited the pic on our website myself with color accuracy in mind. It looks great under 20K spectrum and simply amazing under blues. We have sold Brandon a number of pieces which he has re-sold. We are currently offering frags on our website. The Vivid Confetti is backed by our 15 day guarantee just like all of the other fish, coral, & inverts we sell. We have shipped out a number of pieces ourselves and have not had any problems with pieces browning out. In our experience this is a pretty hardy acro. It is definitely one of my favorites.
