I bought this from BSA corals about a year ago and in a frag pack and it was labeled as a Vivid Rainbow. Not specified as a delight.

Here recently this thing has started to impress. Love the colors.

Does anybody know if this is:

* actually a Vivid Rainbow. I possibly got it mixed up.

* there a difference with the Delight or was the name just left out.

* this about to start spiking out and stop as much entrusting stage.

Looks like vivids rainbow delight to me. Mine encrusted forever then eventually started growing vertically. It is also very sensitive with color and will lose it very easily taking months to color back up.

I've read that it was slow show it's colors. I threw it up on this rock just to get it out of the way because it was just blah for the longest. Now it is one of my favorites.

If it is Vivid Rainbow Delight, a lot of people use this one as a litmus test to see how their reef is doing. Although it will look different under different kinds of lights and comparing it tank-to-tank is not really possible, it will start to lose color before most others. It is not hard to get to grow for most, but getting it to really pop and shine can be hard if you are not on your game.

It does really well for me under as much light as I have.
