He';s looking good, gonna get big too. getting settled in doesn't really have a time frame, its all in the fish. But in reality should only take a week or so. When you see him perched looking down, he's looking for food. When I had mine, he got to be the size of a dinner plate. Had other tank mates, but I kept him fed, and he didn't eat the others.

Excited for him to grow.. just got to be carful how much I feed him, did you have a set routine? Like I was thinking every 2 days maybe 3 times a week?

Every fish differs to adoption to new environments but each day gets more welcoming and social for any given fish. One challenge is feeding which you've overcome it appears. Lots to learn and experience in this hobby !
