vortech wont speed up or cycle in crest mode

I noticed tonight that one of my vortech pumps is just running on about half speed and will not change no matter what mode that I put it in. I reset it several times clearing the memory. Is there anything else that I can try or is my controller most likely bad? This is an older pump mp40w.
