I got one of these used and have been playing with it. When I start/prime it after a few minutes the 1 gallon glass jar looks to have lost a a percentage of the water in it.

Is the glass jar supposed to stay full with water? What could be the issue? I have clamped the hoses and those are not leaking. I have a new O-Ring that I bought when I purchased a new bag (thought that used bag could have been the issue- it wasn't) but have not yet installed it. I also have used plumbers tape on the glass jar threads.

I think its supposed to stay full of water.

I bought one, and was having happy thoughts of all the dirt it would collect and was so mad that i couldnt get it to work. Its the least user friendly machine ive ever seen. Diatom powder everywhere. Wouldn't keep full of water. And on and on.

It now sits unused...
