Waiting for tank delivery. Can't sleep

I ordered my tank last week and I cant stop thinking about it. BRS said it takes about 2 weeks+ for the tank to arrive. It's torture!
Look at all this stuff I bought, just sitting here.... :(

Dude, you could start to cycle those rocks!

Put them in a plastic bin with some sort of seed media, drop in some food and you are off to the races... Make sure the cat does not drink the water though!

Technically, yeah, it should. You need to keep them wet; the tank's cycle is all about getting the bacteria established in the rocks in order to process the 'supply' of the tank. Whether you cycle your rocks in a 30 gallon tub, or the same rocks in a tank, it amounts to the same thing...

I feel the same way. Can't wait for that special call of joy. It's just like the feeling you got when you where a kid and started to see the presents pile up under the Christmas tree.

I'm messed up, I'm already planning my next tank or 2. hahaha

I'm considering setting up a 5g ppeco tank for quarantine and some frags. I could probably do a cheapo petco tank for that...

Yeah this is MY first tank. My family had Oscars when I was a kid, but that doesn't count. ;)
The shipping company called today, it'll be here tomorrow!!! :D

How did you get tracking info? My BRS account still says In Picking. I called on Monday and they said it was already shipped just no tracking available.

I chatted with BRS online with customer service. They gave me the tracking number from some carrier service I never heard of. BRS said it would take 2 weeks but it got here yesterday, 8 days after ordering. Well, Thats for the tank, all the other stuff got here in 3 days. That carrier service will call to make an appointment to deliver the tank, so make sure you answer all unknown numbers.
