This is your standard Aqueon black stand, I used chalk paint and that was it. You don’t have to sand it or anything special like with regular paint.

The fact that I couldn’t move the tank. With chalk paint you don’t have to prep the area other than really gross stuff like wiping salt creep off. It’s water based so you can clean up accidents extremely easy and best of all it doesn’t give off fumes. The main thing is to make sure you go over it with wax when you’re done. It makes it water proof and looks just like regular latex. I’m surprised more people don’t know about it. I love it.
