Ok, (sucks) but the ICH is still in your tank. Do not introduce another fish for 6 weeks, or for up to 6 weeks after you see the last of it on your current stock.

They can still get it, it will survive in that tank without a host for 6 weeks. Don't stress em, don't tick em off, don't try to net em, just leave em be for at least 6 weeks. You should be fine, as Hippos are notorious for ICH.

So even with the fish in there in 6weeks if everything goes smooth...the fish won't get it and the ich does off???

No, that is not correct. Please, PLEASE read through some of the links that others have provided for you. They would have answered ALL of the questions you've asked, since they were posted. If my hippo tang had it and my yellow tang was near it, how come it didn't catch it?

Health of the fish. And proximity doens't have anything to do with it.

So I guess other than that incident my yellow tang and false clown fish are in good spirits!!!
