Watchman Goby growth rate

looking to hear from others on diamond watchman gobies, I have one in my quarantine tank and he's healthy but I'm not willing to release him into my display tank until he's a little larger due to his size, anyone know how long it takes to put on a couple inches? He eats frozen spirulina pretty well but most pellets he'll let pass through his gills thanks!

They grow about an inch every 3-4 months.
