I'm new to the hobby, and I just lost my first two fish, both juvenile clownfish. I believe that brooklynella was the cause, so I'm going to start a 6 week fallow period. My question is, should I do a large water change before? or after? or small water changes during? Or don't worry about doing any water changes?

If you are going fallow you don't need to keep the water quality high for any reason. Keep the lights off, or keep them on and grow algae. You might want to add a clean-up crew if you do keep the lights on?

What local fish store do you use in Waukomis, Petsmart or

Big Al's Sinker & Lure Shop ?
