Water change salinity?

Hi everyone it's been a little while. I am doing a water change right now and I have a question. Is my salinity in my tank supposed to match the salinity in my new water?? (I use Instant Ocean btw)

U want u new water to have the salinity that you desire in your tank. Your tank could be high do to evaporation.

It should, unless you want the tank salinity to rise or fall slightly. :)

I mix mine depending on what salinity in Tank is. It always works out to 1.025 though
