Water change

My tank has been running for 3 weeks now. It is 55 gallons did my first water change today. Only changed out 5 gallons. Guess in about 2 more weeks will change out another 5 gallons. Waiting for the inevitable diatom bloom so I can get some life in there as in clean up crew.

Not yet been looking and researching. But any suggestions would be welcomed

Really depends on what type of tank you want. Some fish aren't compatible with other fish/coral/invertebrates. Best to work on a list and learn their requirements/husbandry. Should also look into quarantine while your still new.

Look at some big online fish vendors, see what you would look nice in the tank, and check thier specs. Then do research outside the retailors and read up on some posts people have about them.

Welcome to R2R! I think your rock placement looks perfect for a 55 I had one once and had way to much rock was a pain to clean yours looks good!
