Water clarity improved after Interceptor - why?

I don't even know where to post this question, but it certainly seems related to water conditions and chemistry so this is as good a place as any to post it.

I started an Interceptor treatment for White bugs. 46mg to approx 120 gallons of water. Very quickly (24hrs?) the clarity of my water became crystal clear. I've always had "stuff" floating around and was considering using a sock and even looking for pumps that may be sucking air. Now, without changing anything aside from dosing the medication my water is CRYSTAL clear, and, also has way less "stuff" floating around (if it was micro bubbles or organics I do not know).

Does this make sense? Makes me think about Carbon dosing but I'm not sure if it is related or not. Anyone can to speculate what happened here?

Even though it isn't an antibiotic, maybe it still killed off some of the bacteria in the water column?!?

I'm thinking that could contribute. Or or it tipped some balance between bacteria in a favorable way? I'd like to understand it better and maybe leverage it (as long as it's not eliminating beneficial stuff) . That tanks clarity is insane.

It does sound like it may have killed off some suspended organisms.

What version did you use? The chewable?

I did get the chewable one, but by the time it came (from overseas) I already had the Milbemycin from my Vet (which is essentially the pure interceptor). I just used the pure stuff and didn't mess with the chewable.
