Water level canondrum

hmmm, Interesting. The display maybe dropped an inch. The over flow was down like 2.5 inches so it was just overflowing into the main of pipe with the slip over that has the clear plastic cup. Just barely enough to trickle down that.

It may be a maintainence issue as I purchased this s2 used with a new pump in it. May be a existing issue that wasnt apparent when I purchased it and installed it into service in my system. Hopefully I can get it sorted this evening. Get it replaced tomorrow if it comes down to it.

I wasn't saying it was poor maintenance on your end.

I'm saying this ying and yang pump to drain valve thing just needs tweaking every so often. Mine changes 1-2x a month, and I have to adjust it, and I call that "maintenance".

No worries mate. Didnt take it that way. Was just trying to give all the particulars to try and work through whata happenin is all :)

Fair enough, I get what you mean :)

An internal leak?

Yes, from the tank into the overflow. If you turn off the return entirely and the tank level keeps going down, that’s a likely explanation.

So I got home. Pleasant surprise, everything went back to normal. Made a minor adjustment on the valve and it seems to have sorted it self out. Weird. Either way, I'm glad it was nothing serious. I will continue to monitor it and in the mean time am going to get a back up pump to keep in reserve.

I would like to greatly thank everyone that chipped in and helped out. I'm very appreciative of this from each of you. I hope you all have a great weekend and if possible, are able to scoop up some deal with the incoming sales!! All the best,

Cheers!

S2? I run into a similar issue quite often. The pump seems to be lacking then proper scheduled flow.

Have you tried unplugging the power to the driver and then plugging it back in?

do you run a battery backup?
Yeah, it's a S2. No, I havent in plugged it but I'm going to shortly.

No, no battery back up yet. That's on it's way.

Not saying that's your issue, but I find that mobius has some sort of bug with the vectras that a power cycle fixes.

Interesting. I turn my return pump off when I feed (I could never get the hang of setting up its feeding mode), this may explain my level fluctuations. Nothing serious, but still fluctuations.
