So, I started working on my 125g build (My 125g build w/basement sump/fish room
https://www.reef2reef.com/index.php?posts/265644/ ) and with the upcoming holidays, the boss usually throws us a decent bonus. With that, I'm planning on purchasing most of the equipment. I've been giving flow some thought and in the past, I've run Jebao power heads but this time around I'd like to go with either a pair of MP40s or a gyre. I guess my question is, what time of flow are you guys running on 6' tanks? Would one gyre suffice? How do you have them set up with your APEX?

Thanks!

I have a 126g tank but mine is only 4ft long. I use a gyre for flow lengthwise and an MP40QD for cross flow. I really like the flow of the gyre. It's an amazingly powerful piece of equipment!
