Was curious if this AuqaShield 9 Watt UV Sterilizer fits inside a WB 10 cube where the sock would be - if not what is being used instead and where was it placed?

thanks!

I dont think it would fit well, even if it does they are not super necessary for these sizes of tanks
Just out of curiosity, why are sterilizers not necessary in this case?

In a smaller tank I feel its a diminishing return, especially for the annoyance of fitting something into a waterbox (not a slight against them ive got the peninsula 15) Its a similar plight to a Skimmer at this scale

also, it kills phyto, zoo plankton and pods which already dont have very large populations in nanos

maybe helpful if you will have a FOWLR otherwise spend the money on some cool corals/fish

Makes sense. Good to know!

Bump. Have had this UV sterilizer for a month and the Dino's won’t go away. It is Ostreopsis. Anyone have other ideas for a UV for WB 10 that’s not really overly expensive
