Well I've decided to remove the black background on the tank, it was quite a task since I had only 4" of clearance behind the tank to work with!

I really like the result though, what do you guys think?

Love it!

I may be going against the grain but I slightly prefer the black back. My thought is it provided great contrast which showed more definition and also seemed to provide more "pop". I will say, however, that either way the tank still looks amazing! At the end of the day, all that really matters is what you like.

Thank you for enjoying the tank everyone!

I'm a ride or die black background kind of guy.

As crusso said tho it's your tank!

I'm sure you have said this, but what are you lighting this tank with?

I'm currently using 2 radion g4 pro to light this tank.

Sorry for the lack of updates! I've been busy with works and vacation to get away from this scorching heat!

I had my sister feed the tank for 2 weeks straight with no water change and when I came back... The algae had truly taken over the tank! I tested phosphate and it was still only 0.15, nitrate was still undetectable.

The only loss while I was gone was my emperor shrimp and my Caribbean Thorny Oyster.

FTS from today! I will need to do a trim soon

I purchased a Red Feather Starfish but didn't realized it would be a monster like this

The other Feather dusters are still doing good!

My favorite Algae (Nemastoma) also exploded in growth while I was gone

I will try to get more pictures throughout the weekend here after I clean the tank up a bit!
