I wanted a board to mount all of my Hydros devices on. Now they sell generic boards but I generic is boring! I needed some inspiration so I hopped on the Google and image searched Hydros Board. Ended up a few pictures down seeing "Hydro Surf Boards". This is it!
Same as with the power board, I grabbed a sheet of 1/8" DI-bond (aluminum face - foam core). I traced out the image in Photoshop and printed it in poster mode from Adobe Acrobat and used it as a template on the board. I used my jigsaw and cut out the shape. Using Adobe Illustrator I designed a graphic for it and placed the devices for a perfect fit. Since I do graphic design and instalation I have access to a large format printer. I printed the graphic out and laminated it so it is essentially a giant sticker. I used an 1-1/4" hole saw and 3D printed grommets out of white TPU/Rubber. Since I had the shape in 2D form I saved the file as an SVG so I could extrude it and print out a border to pop the board off the wall so, the cables have room behind.
I ended up with quite the unique board. I'm very happy with how it came out!
