Went and collected reef sand as well as water off the reef to get the tank wet.
Between the livesand and maxspect ceramic from my 20L I had a pretty instant cycle.
Added copepods and amphipods from rusalty and barely have any diatoms.

Week 1
Let me first say, without the crutch of live sand, ocean water and established biological filtration, I don't recommend anyone try this, but after testing, and with parameters in line, the first 2 fish added were a bangaii cardinal and the CBB.
There is method to my madness, as I want the copperband established and eating aggressively before he has any competition. Currently feeding him live blackworms(thanks @PaulB) mysis crushed into lower rocks and a ccb butterfly feeder I made with an octoaquatics magnet and some pipe.
Later in the week I added a neon goby and a cleaner as well as a fire shrimp.

Week 2 added some test frags of duncan, bubblegum digitata and ricordea. Feeding rod's, pe mysis and a sprinkling of live blackworms. Waiting for the algae turf scrubber to take hold, right now it's bare.
The tank is currently covered with egg crate with 1/8" screening beneath. This is just interim until my custom lid is made.
Added some cuc of trochus, nasarius, and ceriths along with another dose of copepods. 20251004_204502.jpg 20251004_204504.jpg 20251008_170927.jpg
