I think you need a stronger pump then. I don't think you are pushing enough water into the tank

I’m up for trying just about anything. I’m using a Sicce Syncra 4.0, it’s what BRS suggests for the tank. I do have it dialed back a little though. I was thinking I may have been moving too much water before.

That’s good to know. I’m looking to put a tank upstairs. I was think about the weight of the tank plus the rock and water. Thank you for the info
