So after I built my current 70g lagoon, I got the itch for a bigger build. I learned alot building my tank so what would any sane person do? Jump right in and go for a 180g. I got the opportunity to snag a waterbox 7225 from a local reefer when he smacked the corner of it moving it into his house.

Turned out to be a pretty sizeable chip after I cut the silicone that was holding it on. After removing the back vinyl I discovered another small chip.

So, the current plan is to cut apart the panels and get them cut on a waterjet to 20" tall. I'm not a huge fan of 24" tall tanks and being armpit deep in water trying to reach stuff so I think 20" will be good. Cutting the approx 4" off should remove roughly 90% of the chip. To eliminate seeing it entirely, I'm thinking about rotating the panel so any of the remaining chip is on the top back, which will then be hidden with the silicone and new vinyl.

Or I can remove 100% of the chip by cutting it down to 19-19.5" but then its an odd number, so I have a decision to make there.

Now its time for the work to begin cutting apart this beast.
