Is that the normal waterline level? That is much lower than mine. I've always struggled a bit with my 7226 having a really high water level in the display.

Yes that is the normal level. So I have learned that the return pump will push more water into the display then the overflow can bring back into the sump. I originally had the water level issue as well. I had to slow down my return pump.

I've noticed the same. Running my Vectra M1 return at only 40% power and that might still be too much.

My L1 is at 22% after calibration if I remember correctly.

Unfortunately, due to a slammed work load and the virus impact on the acrylic industry my sump completion has been pushed back to sometime in may :(.

Still no sump….. I contacted GEO about a week ago because I had not heard anything back after the deadline has passed. I received a response stating that all AFR’s have been put on hold due to the GEN 3 Clarisea coming out. He wanted to make sure that there was not a design change before he started adding them to the systems. It’s looking like it’s going to be close to a year from original order to when I actually receive it. :confused: Really Sucks. The boxes of new gear are stacking up in the corner and I have been prolonging the overhaul of my cabinet organization until it arrived. All the wiring is going to route differently and I do not want to punch new holes in the cabinet just for everything to change again.
My trident failed about a month ago it took Neptune forever to send my replacement. In the mean time I had been testing with my backup Salifert tests and everything seemed on par. However I noticed that some of my genius were becoming very unhappy and I could not understand why. Once I received the new trident and it tested, my calcium was reading at about 600. I calibrated, tested, calibrated, tested and it kept remaining the same. I purchased a Hanna checker which also read around when the trident was reading. I quickly realized that my saliferts had to be bad even though they were not expired.
In the end, I have lost my RRC UOP :mad:, my Walt Disney is making a slow recovery as well as my Cherry Bomb.

Hello again everyone! It’s has been a quite awhile since being on here. A lot has changed with the tank. Long story short….. I deployed October of last year and 3 months into it something started happening with the tank that my wife just could not put her finger on. After a lot of support and assistance we decided to sell off most of the coral that was still healthy. A friend of ours who has been in the community for many years and has several awesome tanks took the rest of the coral and livestock until we could figure out a solution.
Now time for the happy stuff. We bought a new place that was closer to work. Moved the tank and now it has its own dedicated room!!! The tank has sat dry and all equipment the equipment in boxes since June. The room has finally been painted and…. OHHH I FINALLY am able to install my GEO sump!

I have gradually making progress.

- The cabinet containing the CARX and Versa’s is pretty much complete. I just need to do some wire clean up and add the containers. But I ran out of R/O tubing so I am waiting for the next order to come in.
- The sump area is coming along rather nicely as well. Starting to work the electrical and wire management piece out the back on the tank to the control board.
- Starting to mount the controller equipment and run all the cables for that.

Finally getting the R/O unit back together! Building a mixing station, something I have wanted to incorporate in the tank for years. It will be automated so that the ATO pulls from R/O barrel. Also going to run an auto water change system. As much as I would love to upgrade to the nice clear containers, will be using the grey brute cans that have been sitting around for now. I should be posting more photos of it soon. CEPEX valves have been hard to find lately.

I love being able to pull that R/O reservoir out! So much more room for activities. Still a work in progress. I have the Versa on the left set up for my Red Sea AB+ that will be pulled from the little refrigerator. I still need to drill the hole and run the line in. I have ran a 4th blue tube for the waste line of the trident.

The two lines are for the auto water change. The one going into the sump chamber is for pulling the water out. The return chamber line is for fresh saltwater coming in.

All the lines have been ran and secured through the cabinet. Everything have been pulled out and ready to be routed to its final places.

Tomorrow I am going to work on cleaning out the display and getting it ready to start the rock work.

The controller board is finally complete. Adaptive Reef needs to have a disclaimer, “space inside of box is much smaller than it appears!” :face-with-tears-of-joy: It was quite the challenge squeezing all the cables in and still trying to make it somewhat neat and organized.
Mixing station is being delayed due to Cepex valves out of stock everywhere!
Now onto rock work!

Finally getting water in the sump!!!!!!

Mixing Station complete. I have a better solution for the cable management. Will also be here this week.

Ran the Apex configurations through the ringer and she’s holding strong with the level of automation I am looking for.
