Waterbox Clear Pro freshwater setup as sumpless reef?

Anyone use a 6025 Waterbox Clear Pro as a sumpless reef? Maybe place a Tunze 9014 as skimmer inside?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use it as a reef tank. Maybe a bigger HOB skimmer and a HOB filter system?

I had my LFS drill a 3020, worked fine. It's in a crate right now since I moved but thinking about upgrading to a 6025 myself.

Might go with the peninsula though.
