Hello, hope every one had a good Christmas and new year’s.
New stuff:
Hanna alk checker
Ato the flooded my tank and floor
Frutloop zoa and rasta frag with about 50 polyps for 45!
Mushroom
Flower pot coral
Growth:
birdsnest hasn’t grown much but not really worried
Hammer great growth two or three more polyps
Candy cane coral polyps got bigger but not much
All the zoas great growth 10-15 more polyps
Anemone is big I’ve been feeding it once a week and hoping that it will split soon
Im dosing fritz part one alk/calcium buffer and keeping levels stable at around 8.1-8.3
skimmer trucking along keeping nitrates at a steady 5 which seems to be letting the Zoas grown and the hammer grown

All is well with the tank

Gonipora isn’t opening and my alk is 8.1 i test the rest on Saturday’s so we will find out soon. Any common reasons that gonis close?

My tank is doing well but ato is having problems… aka dumping another gallon of ro onto the tank.
The goni is open mostly but sometimes isn’t open at all.
Trying to keep alk in range.

Talking to the manufacturer about the sensor I think its faulty and would probable get my money back and buy a different brand.

After a recent trip to the fish store I got a space invader and a fox flame they are doing "ok" so they look the same as they did at the fish store.

Sorry for no up dates my basement flooded and I've been working on replacing the floor for a month. space invader is doing great and my fox flame is not doing too well there in one tip with green on it and the rest have this green hue around the tip it looks to be doing better but not promising.

I love it, the design is well thought out and the craftsmanship is top notch cant praise this tank enough great size for all corals. Also sorry for any one that was hoping for coral pics had a family emergency.

Would any one know if a six line wrasse would eat pellets. He is eating shrimp but everything else eats the pellets.

Ok if you actually read this thread and follow this Im sorry no excuses except “life”. But I finally took pics so with out further ado here you go. The toad stool is just closed massive groth over the last few months. Anemone died due to my idiot self. Got a acro its the purple one if some one could ID that would be great the other side has some neon on it hopefully it will come to the front side. The zoanthids are doing great and the mushrooms are about ready to split. The top foxflame acro is coning back from mismanagement of levels on my part putting about 5 ml of acro power in every other day with 7 ml of alk and cal liquid. Every thing is doing good still fighting algae. Maybe just maybe I will take a picture after tomorrow’s water change

I get it, my life has been busy as well and I've been neglecting to get pictures. Lookin good though! I see you are also battling GHA! I started pulling mine as best as I can and my turbo snails come behind me and finish it off.

What did the anenome in? Powerhead?

I was going to remove it but I pulled the rock above it off it and it was attached to that rock ripping into 2.

Hey all, did a water change and few other algae/perams.
the space invader got dislodged and broke the skeleton in a few places as you will see in the pics below
Algae is rampant and is everywhere i keep removing it manually is there anything besides a emerald crab that will eat gha?
All the acros are growing like crazy birds nest is MASSIVE compared to when i got it.
Thats about all I think i will upgrade my light to the xr15 g6 some time soon. Gotta save up 600$ first though im about a quarter way there with 160. I save about 80 a week so in about 2 months and I might get a cal hanna checker so give or take 2 months.
Also when i was taking algae out i found a bristle star. So i thought that was cool.

I found my turbo snail will demolish GHA if you pull it off enough that it's not too long.

Well it finally happend… I got the light! So much better than any light I’ve had before. (Not to say kessil is bad in any way there lights are good.) but man have i been waiting for this one.
