Waterbox infinia reef 190.5

What is the number and how do your corals look?
Well it got up to .25 because I was being lazy and not testing po4 weekly and burnt the tips of a couple acros. Tested and found out it was high did a few water changes and running rowaphos got it down to .15 any everything is happier.

Mine has been running at .25 and nitrates at 25 for as long as I can remember but I don’t have acros. I’m glad you got it down and everything responded well.

Yeah the acros were the only thing that showed stress. And not even all of them.

Tanks doing really well now looking great getting great growth on sps. Lost a couple torches last week I’m guessing from putting in too high of lighting my other torches have been acclimated to around 250 par so mistake on my part for putting them down there. Twelve days of growth on one piece.

Looking sweet! Those shots are gold! How are you liking Brightwells Reef Code A & B? I'm trying to decide if I want to use AFR powder / Kalk or 2 part.

AFR is easy when you want to do slow since it's focused on Calcium and everything follows that. Best for softies and LPS (and maybe light SPS).
If you have pH issues, use Kalk first.
If you have large ALK consumption (usually SPS dominant), you add two part on top of Kalk or just use two part. Two part can be expensive with heavy alk and cal consumption which is why calcium reactors will be key for large SPS tanks and farms.

Quit using reef code about 2 months in after my first icp was wildly off now I use brs bulk soda ash and calcium chloride and I add tropic Marin A and K trace Elements into the two part.

I can see two part going to be an issue coming up most of my sps are frags and I’m going through 100ml of calcium and soda ash daily. Tank uses about 1 dkh a day.
