Owners of WB MP25, what are you using for flow?

I have a sicce 1.0 w/ random flow nozzle as well as a Jaebo SLW10. With a barebottom base. I have a lot of detritus build up, which I think is leading to green hair algae, and some other sheets of crap on the glass and bottom.

I also saw some bubble algae, which I think I removed. I'm wondering if I need a 3rd powerhead. I almost think 2 powerheads and a return in a 25 gallon is ridiculous.

Thank you in advance!

In my 20g nano cube I have a jebao ow-25. The jebao 10's are not enough, imo.
I run the 25 at full power in wave mode. Plenty of flow with no buildup of debris on the BB.

First, thank you very much for the reply and taking a picture!!

1. I notice your WM is just below the weir. Is that a new placement for you? I would like to know if that is a good spot for me to try as well. Although magnet placement will be interesting as I have an intank caddy, but I think I can do it.

2. Your barebottom looks spotless!!
-Was that after you just cleaned or is that the way it looks all the time?
-Would you sure your maintenance scheduale? Perhaps some of the tools you use? That would be very helpful!!!

Thanks again!!

I do not do any cleanimg except for the glass.
It was the best spot for overall flow. Not alot of room in a 18" cube.

I do 10% WC on all my systems once a month.

Not much maintenance except to clean the glass when needed.
I change overflow cup filter floss every few day.

I run 1 cup rox carbon in a mesh bag. Its alot but with no other filtration it has worked well.

3 baskets, 2 with eheim substrate pro and 1 with matrix.

I dose esv 2 part and dsr ez trace daily.
