Heater relocated and ATO setup. Still debating what to do for lighting - leaning towards 1-2 Par38s or something like a Reefbreeders nano, or kessil/ai if I can pickup cheap. Want to keep the light small or access into tank/back chamber will be hindered.

Next steps:
- Add Tunze 9001 or other nano skimmer
- More coral
- Clean up wiring below MP10 controller

Update:
- Added Tunze 9001 skimmer, swapped for smaller Eheim Jager heater, ordered inTank Filter Floss holder. Looking into MP10 anemone guard options in lieu of foam.

It’s definitely a cool addition. Haven’t had it too long but seems rather hardy. Grubes gorgonian is also photosynthetic so thats a big plus.

How low in water you got tunze 9001 I got one but setting it up hard I found
It’s at about the skimmer’s water line marking. The top of the skimmer cup sits about 1/2” below tank rim so you can’t see it easily. This is mainly to align the skimmers waterline with the water level in second AIO chamber held constant by an overflow baffle. I also have a shelf about 6” above the tank which makes back chamber access a bit harder though it is what it is. I have a float ATO but a smaller optical one may allow you to raise the water level in second chamber a bit.

The skimmers magnet is on the short dimension which isn’t ideal for AIO tanks. Some people will DIY reattach the magnet to the long width but I just set the skimmer on an eggcrate shelf/rack.

I have my 9001 set up the same on my WB25, but I used the magnet. The other half of the magnet slips down between the baffles and it works well.

I was considering this but wasn’t sure if the exterior side magnet is epoxy coated or not. If not, it could corrode in the water.

Added a filterfloss holder from inTank, using a dremel to notch out an edge to accommodate the chord for a heater in the first chamber. Hoping this will be cheaper longterm than running special sized filter socks. Tank is open top and has been catching more dust than I would like so hoping this will help filter out fine particles better than the nylon mesh sock I was running.
