Hello Reefers,

I have a Waterbox 25 Peninsula AIO. I have done some small upgrades like the return pump being a TMC Reef 500 with a dual RFG, the stock filter sock replaced with a intank media basket which houses filter floss, chemipure blue and Maxspect nano sphere bio and a DD ATO.

I currently only have 1 fish that being a Randall’s goby paired with a pistol shrimp. I am looking for a solid CUC but missing out hermit crabs I know I know probably going to be slaughtered for saying that. I’m just not interested in them.

Anyway. Here is the following I have in my tank;
x1 Cleaner Shrimp
x1 Conch
x1 Trochus
x2 Mexican Turbo
x3 Cerith
x4 Nassarius

How many more can I add? For the glass, sandbed and rocks. I have quite a lot of Diatoms, a lot of hair algae and I have a small build up of Cyano.

You should add an urchin to you tank, they will make quick work of that algae!

I would increase the CUC with astrea snails and an emerald crab. I would also suggest start adding beneficial bacteria from Dr tim's, microbacter 7 and PNS. When I started dosing these at differing days of the week (overlapping them) on varying days my algea issues drastically reduced. The increased CUC will help clean it up, the additional bacteria will help balance the tank

Do you have a small skimmer on the tank?

Hope this helps

I will look into Dr. Tim’s next weekend as this weekend is the mad rush for me very busy! But will most likely grab it next weekend as I need more RO.

Yes, I have a Bubble Magus Mini Q and a Green killing machine (UV)

Get the others as well if you can, urchin as suggested, astrea snails, emerald crab, and others recommended. hit it with the microbactor 7 and PNC as well. Let me know how it works
