Someone help! We purchased a Waterbox Cube 20 gallon. Is there a way to adjust the water flow? The flow is too strong for the fish/seahorses we have and we are now finding them sucked into the back where the filter is because of the suction. Can we turn the water down? Any tips for suction?

Swap out the pump for lower flow option is the best solution. You can cover the overflow with something like filter floss foam that doesn't obstruct the flow into the chambers (that could starve out the pump). You can also adjust the nozzle so it is aimed toward the surface and not pushing them around.

Do you know how we could go about swapping the pumps out to make sure they fit? Or where we could buy another pump?

Might take some leg work but most pump dimensions are published online and the waterbox 20 is a fairly common tank. I would just search pump replacement waterbox cube 20 or something and get some ideas.

Remove the pump and check if it is adjustable. I looked it up using Google and there appears to be a slider that controls the speed of the pump. Lower it and it will slow the flow.
