Can someone explain to me the difference between the WE LE versus the V2 other than having it control more pumps?

Also, what’s the difference between the command bus inputs, pump, outputs, and in and out? I’ve looked on the Hydro website and it’s pretty confusing.

Thank you!

You tube has good links. This is a driver for pumps in which I use for my gyres.
Your pumps are plugged into outputs

Do you plus anything into the command bus inputs? Or on the 10v inputs?

The Wave engine (v2) has more capability. It generally handles larger pumps (varios 4) better since it’s got a bigger board for heat dispersion. So if you are loooking to run return pumps, use the full version. In addition the WE can also be a master in a collective. While the WELE has an older processor and only can be a secondary device in a collective.

The full wave engine also has both 0-10v in and out while the WELE just has 0-10V in. So if you have other pumps that use 0-10V in or even lights, the full wave engine is needed.

Overall both units support the same pumps. You just get 4 pump outlets with the full vs 2 on the WELE.

The full we also supports WiFi accessories like power strips and feeders but the WELE does not.

That makes sense. Thank you so much for explaining that. So if I want to have two powerheads, but also potentially planning to have my return pump controlled by the Hydro controller as well, do you think it would be important to get the V2? Or, to have the return pump just plugged into The launch controller and being able to control it with that
