Hi all,

the placement of wave makers has always given me a headache, it seems where ever I put them they either blast some corals too much and others not enough so they start getting algae growing on them. I’ve tried high positions and low positions at the front and back but can’t find a system I’m happy with. I have a 4 x 1.5 x 1.5 tank and have 2 x coral box rn-1 wavemakers one at either end.

Could it be that the wave makers are to much for your system?

This is a try and try and try situation, also like jsker stated the type or size of the wavemaker could be working against you. What type are you using? and how many?
