Hello, I am new to saltwater and got a Waterbox Peninsula 25, but I noticed that the flow isn't too good so I need a wave pump that is quiet, small, but puts out good flow. Any recommendations?

Hey. I would recommend a Nero 3 pump with a custom green Nem Guard. I also have a Mini Penn 25.

I’ve been big worrying about this clam. It’s only a few days old. But I think it should be open more.

Have u thought about upgrading the return pump? Mine runs on a Sicce 1.0 and it works great. Lots of flow and super quite.
I upgraded it to a Tunze 1073.008, had good reviews on amazon. Its silent, has pretty good flow. I think my coral and fish would like some more flow. I don't see much agitation on the surface of the water either. Thanks for the thread, I will definitely check it out!

Do you know much about dunkin corals? I have one that looked really good until I got a Midas Blenny, now it is always closed. Do you think the new fish has something to do with it? I have a bicolor hammer and it is doing great.

Not too much. Mine is currently closed but it’s growing a few heads. My clownfish used to nest it and it was just fine. Sometimes they just close up then come back better.

I have Aqua Medic Ecodrift 4.2 in my PM25, its really handy for being able to tilt whatever direction you want which is an advantage over the Nero 3 and why I chose it. Cant go wrong with either I think

I would go with the Nero or if you could find 2 smaller power heads that can push and pull water on opposite pulses to optimize flow that might work a little better.
