I searched but cant find one that checks all the boxes…

1) very small
2) magnetic drive, cord outside tank
3) programmable - preferably via app
4) the portion that sits outside the tank can be submerged (AIO tank and it will be located in the rear sump)
5) can set or change flow direction

Thanks!!!

The only pump I am aware of that has the cord outside the tank are the Ecotech MPs and you can’t submerge the dry side.

This is the answer right here. It's called a "dry side" for a reason.

Jebao has their DMP knock-off model, but it works the same way and has the same limitation.

1) very small -- I have a tiny one off amazon

2) magnetic drive, cord outside tank -- yes, this has it

3) programmable - preferably via app -- This is the problem, something that tiny you can't add any more programming

4) the portion that sits outside the tank can be submerged (AIO tank and it will be located in the rear sump)
-- Yes via magnet.

5) can set or change flow direction --- no such thing, only Gyres can do this feature, not powerheads.

Any chance for a link? I would love to have powerheads on the back wall of my nano but currently run MP10s on the ends

Ah I forgot it is DC powered so you can control the speed.

Nice little pump but the OP is looking for one with no cord in the water like a vortech MP but they want to put the dry side in the back chamber. No such animal exists TMK.
I may get one if these to try. I would rather have the cord coming up the back vs having the powerheads on the ends like I have now.
