Wavemaker size/strength question

Im sorry Im asking quite a few questions,but my first time lol. Im using an 8 watt 1500 gph Hygger controlable wavemaker. It gives me lots of control with 5 different modes, 4 time periods to program and 1 to 20 power levels. I have the biocube 32. Is this too powerful? Whats the best judgement? I dont want to push fish all over the tank. I only plan on have softies and LPS. The 20 power levels help for this I suppose and ot says for 20 to 40 gallon saltwster reef tanks. Mines more of a cube. Any help is appreciated.

Definitely not too powerful, especially since it gives you control over speeds. I'd wager you can run it on max during the day and be fine. A lot of people tend to slow down the flow at night so the fish can relax a bit, although that may not even be necessary. But for daytime, this is fine. You could probably do even more flow!

I use a nero 3 in my 32 gallon which is 2000 gph, I use it at full power, actually thinking of getting a second one to add more flow.

I have that hyyger in my 15 gallon, I just got it last month but I'm very happy with it, I might get a couple more for my other tanks.
