I recently added a small kenya tree to my tank. It came on a small piece of live rock. I've been noticing a web, much like a vermitid snail would make, coming out a small hole in the live rock but I don't see the tube that a vermitid would have. Also, when I blow the webbing off I can see something retract into the hole. I took the rock/coral out and looked into the hole with a magnifying glass and can't see anything. Any ideas what it might be? It does irritate the kenya a little bit. Wish I could get a pic but it's way too small and my camera phone is useless.

Super glue the hole;)

Yea, I was planning on doing that. I was just curious what it might be...

Any pic?

Vermetid snails looks like a small tube with a Web coming out. Most tanks with live rock has them and they can multiple quick. Their mucus can irritate corals

Yea, I know what a vermitid snail looks like...This has the same type of web but is living in a small hole and retracts when I blow off the web...And I can't get a pic because as I already said, it's too small and my camera phone sucks...
