Webcam help needed

I'm going on vacation for 5 days and I would like to set up an inexpensive Webcam to watch my tank. I would like to be able to log in to it and see my tank live. Can someone recommend a brand or model? Are they stand alone or do they need to be run through a computer? Is it free or do you need an app? I don't know anything about them. Thank you.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have ring, so I just keep a battery camera on my tank at all times. I can check in on my tank anytime. You do need the ring app.

My ring camera actually saved me a couple times. one time my skimmer overflowed, and I noticed the water level had dropped about an inch in the tank. So I thought I had a leak or something, drove home from work in the middle of the day to find and fix the problem. Having a camera on the tank is certainly a good idea.

I have a Wyze cam pan v3. Uses an app but doesn't cost money unless you want to capture/save footage.

I would suggest a GoPro or something similar. Here is one from Amazon. It's water proof, and has Wifi connection.Amazon

I use a Blink camera from Amazon.

You don’t need a subscription unless you want to save the clips.

You can view live any time you want.
