Hi guys and gals, I’ve noticed this weird growth on my lobo recently and I have no idea what it could be and if it’s serious, has anyone seen this before? It’s like a spot of algae but there seem to be these circular shapes inside the patch

Looks like a small cluster of tunicates related to sponge. If you want it gone, inject with vinegar

Id say no. I had a sponge on mine and it was fine but problem is some secret a mucus and the one i had ate a chunk away from my skeleton
Okay appreciate the help, is it possible to remove it manually with some tweezers and a scalpel or is vinegar my only option?

Last time with my white sponge i just took my finger and threw it off. Don't kill it as if its body gets into the water its not good
