Ive seen this when clowns battle as they will lock mouths and have teeth but also when breeding and cleaning rocks. The other would be glass surfing up and down chasing their own reflection. Seeing it with one fish suggests battle scars, and I suggest keeping an eye on them allowing fish to heal if still eating or to prevent infection treating in a separate tank with seachem Neoplex or Tri-sulfa
Thank you!I agree, this is caused by mechanical trauma, might be something mild, but repetitive, like glass surfing, or major acute injury, like from lip locking.
