The journey begins today. 30 gal jbj rimless. Comes with a gyre and about 3 buckets of pumps, Apex gear and more! Home to clean it up. Rock ordered from Reef Cleaners and order confirmed by John Maloney. Great customer experience so far! More pics of the progress on their way! Wish me luck!

Nice find. It’s only highway robbery if they didn’t know what they had.

I always have 2 large containers of vinegar on hand. Which reminds I need to get another, my pumps need cleaning. Looks like loads of build up a few more bottles would be fine.

Thanks. Buying what they have. I'll use it.

Keep us posted with your build with lots of photos!

Came pretty darn clean on the first go round. Soaking the pumps now. Time to clean the reservoir/media area. Pretty tight in there but we shall see!

That looks like some dirty work. Keep scrubbing looking good. Are you running the pumps in the the vinegar?

Haven't turned them on yet. That's later tonight. The tank came pretty clean. Letting it soak again and then draining. Once drained I'm going to shop vac the remaining debris.
