Added a sunken ship about 4 months ago. It’s a fun touch. The shadow box behind the tank has a diver and shark, so the ship completes the scene. lol

Newest fish and now favorite! It struggled in qt, refused to eat any frozen foods. I couldn’t seem to find live blackworms or even brine at the LFS in December. It wouldn’t eat live little neck clams or mussels. Out of desperation, I went to the beach and located 15 tiny live cocina clams. Threw them in the qt and the little CB was excited, but it was too small and weak to pull the cocina out. I began cracking the shells for the CB to easily pick the meat out. “Rosco” is now plump and not afraid to eat out of my hand. Cocinas are now a special treat for him and me.

Too bad shadow box doesn’t photograph well. Looks great in person.

Photo of the hill billy hot tub 75 gal qt system. Took 2 weeks to catch all the fish out of the DT. I am letting DT go fallow 76 days (again) due to ich. Fish are divided into CP qt and TTM qt currently. So far I haven’t lost anyone.

Month ago noticed a lot of dried salt splash behind the right side overflow and the right overflow was more noisy. I cleaned it and inspected it. Found a couple snails hanging out in it and decided it was water splashing off them.
I wish. Then I noticed the right grates were more underwater then the left side grates. Looks like the tank is sitting 1/8”+ lower on the right side. Hopefully this isn’t going to be a problem.
