We saved some of them. Unfortunately the floor of a restaurant is mopped with very harsh chemicals twice per day. Many people tried to save the fish by scooping the water off the floor into pitchers and then grabbing fish and placing them in the pitchers. Props for people trying, but the floor chemicals combined with the instant pressure change was not very conducive to life.

That sucks but yea fair enough. Idk what you guys use but when I worked in a restaurant we mopped with bleach + detergent every night at the very least. I can't imagine very many fish would survive that...
