I’m new to reefs. My tank recently cycled and I put this trochus in. I wondered if this is bubble algae, but it’s not 3-D bubbles. More flat (2-D) looking from one angle and round from another. Any concerns? Thx!

I can’t see the picture, but I always scrub the shells of my snails with a small brush.

I wouldn't worry, if you really care just scrub it off with a toothbrush but make sure you do it OUTSIDE of the tank so you don't release any spores into the water.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
