Good day. We are new in this hobby and recently went through big tragedy, where all our fish and even one shrimp died. Probably because of velvet or maybe we overdosed them during treatment. Anyway when all this happened our anemone seemed pretty good, it bloomed every day. But last couple days it looks like this. We have 50 gallons tank, with such pump on top. Now we trying to make water good again, because after tragedy all parameters were very high. We made almost 60% water change, also we put this according to instructions. So now parameters are this
KH 196.9 ppm (we were told this parameter does matter only for reef tanks but just in case)
Calcium 440 ppm
Phosphate 0.25
Ammonia 0.25
Nitrate 20 I don’t know how to lower it, if even such big water change didn’t help.
There is no fish now, only 3 crabs, snails, slugs, centipedes (long pink creatures with multiple legs) but I put little bit of food in tank so they will have something to eat. Thank you.
