What are my chances? Damsel compatibility

So I have a red flatworm problem starting in my tank. I’ve got a medium and small size green chromis and a rather large orange tail damsel that occasionally chases the chromis around but nothing intense. I really don’t want to add chemicals and I really don’t want a six line. I’m bare bottom but I’m willing to buy or make a wrasse den but those species seem more hit or miss. My LFS is getting in starcki damsels later this week, if I add one is it a death sentence? My orange tail is pretty beastly. It’s a 120 gallon. Other fish are 2 occ clowns, Midas blenny, Longnose Hawk, swallowtail angel, and orchid dotty. Almost all are juveniles and the more aggressive species were added within the past 6 weeks.

i added an azure to an established springer damsel in my 50g cube and it did not go well. the azure was near death within an hour or two and had to catch him and sump him. i did not abide by the add more than you already have guideline

i later added both together to my current 100g tank and they're both fine together. your tank is bigger than my 50g tank so i like your chances more, but if possible, i'd add more than 1 damsel to the 1 established one.

I think any one fish added is going to be a problem unless you use a acclimation box for a couple days or manage to isolate the aggressor for a few days. Adding more fish at once will allow dispersed aggression. In a 120g, you have the room for them to find their own territory, but the one established will be a problem because it is used to the entire tank.

i'd never add a sixline as they're known to be goons most of the time and the dottyback might really not appreciate it

if you want a pest eating wrasse, but don't have sand, i'd get a pink streak wrasse
